Bio: Adaptation and resiliency are recognized by the scientific community as being key elements of facing climate change. But only rarely do these concepts make their way into the lives of the rest of society. The goal of this blog is to highlight how we can become more adaptable and resilient in everyday situations and to provide a bridge between the science and the reality of our environment. Originally from Vancouver Island, Canada, I am interested in the human-nature relationship and issues of natural resource management. I am in my final year of a Bachelor of Environmental Studies program at the University of Waterloo in Ontario. I also have a Diploma in Ecological Restoration and Rehabilitation.
